Hey everybody. My name is Matt and I am speaking to you here on behalf of Expert Village. All
right and once you get your clips down into the time line you are going want to be able
to edit them. If you want to change the order in which they're in you need to come over
to your clip the viewer mode. And I showed you this earlier. But you can just click and
drag and you can change the order that they are in here. But you?re also going to want
to be able to edit the length of your clips. If you come back over to your time line viewer
what you can do is hold your cursor over where two clips meet and you?ll notice it changes
to a line and it will have an arrow pointing over towards one of the clips depending on
the the side of the clip you?re on. What you can do it if you left click the and hold your
mouse you can drag the clip over. And you?ll notice that it?s shortening my first clip
there. That?s the direction that the cursor was pointing in and that dramatically shortens
my clip here. You can do this to any of the clips. If I go and do it the other way you
will see its shortening my last clip now and it?s automatically going to slide it over
to meet that last clip so that there are no spaces in between. You can also do this the
opposite way. Just because you change the length of a clip doesn?t mean that it?s deleted.
I?ll go over here and I can drag it back out so you?re not actually deleting a clip. You
can come back at any time and get back what you cropped there.
