Injury and trauma tend to get stuck in the body when we injure a part of our body there’s
an energetic imprint, so when there’s been injury and trauma to the body, the body tends
to shut down around that area to try to keep it safe. It doesn’t want it to get hurt
anymore, and this is one of the few places that I’ve found where the body isn’t quiet
as smart as it usually is, because when we shut off an area like a shoulder, energy stops
moving through there, the blood flow, the oxygen doesn’t move through that area. It
actually starts getting worse and worse and we don’t know how to release it. When this
energy that energetic imprint doesn’t have a way to get released it gets stuck in the
body, and then the rest of the body is effected as well because of something called compensation.
When somebody can’t use their shoulder, then they won’t be able to use their arm
as much and these muscles then because they’re not being used, what that muscles usually
do has to get picked up by other parts of the body. Even an injury just in the shoulder
you might start feeling something in the opposite hip because the energy tends to crisscross
around the body or down the body. The muscles in other parts of the body that are trying
to pickup the work of the shoulder or the hip or the low back or wherever you have pain
or injury or soreness. Those muscles then start to get over worked because they’re
doing work that they weren’t meant to do and they eventually start getting worn down
as well. Energetic imprints come last in the body even if they don’t effect us anymore.
I remember working with one person who had had a broken ankle 20 years before and it
didn’t bother him at all, but when I worked on his ankle and I opened it up a little bit
and let some of the tension release, he told me afterwards that it was like there were
these little men who were in his ankle that got up and walked away. Even though it didn’t
bother him anymore there was still something stuck in there.
