Hi. I'm Jennifer Durbin, and I've got some great tips for you on packing a toddler travel
kit. The key to happy travels with a toddler is to include them. Make this an event. Get
them excited about your trip.
The first thing you can do is get them to pack their own travel kit. Get them a fun
little kit that they can take with them, something that might even have their name on it, or
their favorite character.
You of course don't want to leave the house without any medicine they need. If they're
still teething, that's very important, or if they might have a little cough, make sure
you've got your cough syrup with you.
You also want to make sure that you have plenty of snacks. Snacks are very important to keep
a toddler happy if they get a little fussy, and always, always, always have some water.
Let them have it in their car-seat in the backseat. If they're on the plane, let them
hold that as well. It's a really great way to keep them comfortable.
Obviously, you'll want something that keeps them occupied, so make a little art kit for
them to take with them. Put pens in it, crayons, little post-it notes that they can color on,
and they will be happy for hours on end.
Have your toddler help you pack this little toddler travel kit, and everyone will have
a great time.
