Hey YouTube land I just want to give you a quick to tour
of the new workshop thus far
in the middle I have my I main
table thet'll be doing all my building its
three-feet I'm by six feet about 35 inches tall
um primarily made out of two by fours
I use the a plan on line from the EAA
their standard building table
a few modifications I added a shelf to store on my junk in there
eventually I'm going to have to organize that
MDF is pretty pretty sturdy pretty flat
I'm I will be putting some sheet steel on the top of it
probably 20 gauge I'm not sure if I'm going to galvanize or cold rolled
and the reason why I do that is because I build with magnets
I got these fixtures here that um
they they stick to the steel you can hold up against your
airframes hold them nice and straight
I'm not try to come up with the way of using magnetic fixtures for
um holding furniture and small trinkets together.
shameless plug for Bora clamps
there are awesome
and then I'm gonna bolt this the back tables here
these two tables are about 14 feet by 24 inches
and then I added this lil' shelf on the side its about two feet
because I had to go around one of the drains
again this one's a primarily 2 by 4's and three quarter inch plywood on top
bottom shelf
is half-inch plywood, very sturdy
and I added a little shelf on top of that with some of the access wood
um and then on my last table, here is fully
eight feet long about 30 inches in depth
and 2 by 4's three quarter inch plywood on top
I have a bathroom cabinets and the bottom
got them from neighbor he was throwing them out when he was redoing his bathroom so
thanks to the neighbor and then I put in a poor man's dust collection
and filtration system so I have some box fans
I'm in opposite directions with some first filters
they do get a pre pretty good I'm when go on and that's to pick up a lot of
dust
kinda hard to see where is discolored from August that they pick up some
pretty good
on the dust collection system
is to entice PVC and I am
picked up some gates and flex to
from woodcraft dot com through them up on their
and it works fairly well and I have a comeback are here are the main table so
I can
I'm but maybe I get dust could do or
a sandbox or something and hook it up to the collection system
and they all runs back to the next room
so sorry here and I am very now hooked up to a
a small shop vac doesn't a
an alright job unless they all get dust collector on their
with some better airflow are I do have it into a
dust deputy I'm hooked on a five gallon bucket is actually does a pretty good
job of separating the dust
I'll this section 10 select a bucket of the ground level unit
flex tube as a collapse is so I have a way to go for now
com another addition I have years
a iraq that I built store all my airplanes
would take up quite a bit a room so so any day rack
and some
after I put the sheet steel
on the table here eventually when I wanna do is build a
dust or over here
and get this stuff out here and make it into a charging station for all my
batteries
so they'll be in my next project
and now probably cause some build videos or photos on their
so stay tuned
