Hi! I’m Mathie from Pintura Facil Para Ti (easy painting for you) and today I suggest you to paint
this beautiful notebook step by step and I hope you like it!!
For start painting the notebook we first
need to prepare the material
So let’s disassemble the notebook
separating the covers
from the spiral
and from the paper
You can use some pliers to fold the spiral ends
to easier
remove the spiral
Once the notebook is disassembled
let’s cover the sides with
polyurethane varnish
or water-based varnish
Let the covers well dry between layers
to better protect them
Repeat 2 or 3 times
for better results
and let the covers dry before continuing
Now let’s apply some painting
so when the notebook covers are ready, and the varnish is well dried
we can start applying 2 or 3 layers of white acrylic paint
to well cover the background
and not show the real colors of the cover
Once the white layer is painted, we can start with the color.
in this case, we are applying some light slate blue
that you can obtain by mixing some cyan, blue, yellow iron oxide
and a pinch of white. You can learn how to mix all these colors
in our Colors Recipes course
Now, prepare the design you want to apply on the cover
on one of the notebook piece of papers. This way
It’ll have the shape and dimension exact for your project
then transfer it to the cover
when paint is well dry
you can do it with carbon paper
or transferring directly with your pencil
Let’s apply now some shading
around the design
with a darker
slate blue
than the one we used for the background.
double load the angular brush
with the dark slate blue in one side
and floating gel in the other
and apply the shadow all around
the design
Also, we’ll create some shadow areas on the background
to get a more vivid
background
Next step como siguiente paso famosa en pesadilla
we’ll mix a bush green color
with blue, yellow and a little red.
for starting with simple comma strokes
every little leaf and stems
make loads of many colors at the time
You can double load with bush green and white
and also siena
and obtain the combination of 3 colors in just one comma stroke
to get them more colorful
For painting the leaves,
we’ll multiple load the brush with green
and yellow
this way, our brush will be loaded with green
cadmium yellow
and some white touches. For the biggest leaves
we’ll use the same triple load of green yellow and white
to create each leaf with simple strokes
To paint the roses, we’ll create a apricot color
mixing Yellow iron oxide, red
and white
Double load the brush with
apricot and white
and paint the rose, overlapping 4 strokes
to create the rosebud
to paint the small daisies we’ll double load
the liner
with cadmium yellow and white
and paint some comma strokes for as petals
for the centre
put some Yellow iron oxide droplets
with the liner and some
more green paint, draw the stems
and more leaves to decorate the bouquet
use also the yellow iron oxide to paint them
so the color will combine perfectly
when the cover is dry,
apply some more varnish. Just
2 or 3 layers more
this part is very important to protect the work
Now the covers are ready
we have to assemble the notebook again
as it was
to use it
