Some of the common mistakes you may experience with front side lipslides on a ledge basically
have to do with the board either sliding out and shooting out in front of you because maybe
there's too much wax on the top or maybe the corner is just a little bit slick. So sometimes
it tends to shoot out. What you want to do is make sure you know what the ledge is going
to be like or at least lean enough forward so that you're able to control the amount
of speed. The other common problem is basically getting out of the lipslide and making sure
that your front wheels are able to clear and roll away. What you want to do is have a lot
of weight on the tip of your tail so that when it comes time to ollie out you hit the
back tail and then you level out and you roll away cleanly. This will assure that your front
wheels are kicked up and your tail has put weight on it and you're able to coast out.
So popping out is the hardest part, and what you're going to want to do is make sure that
you roll away cleanly and evenly and put weight on the back of your tail and make this part
clear so that you can roll away with some bit of speed.
