What are you going to make? Srihari Palaharam
Ingredients required to make Srihari Palaharam
Green Gram, Asafoetida, Baking Soda, Tamarind, Bengal Gram, Dry Red Chillies, Green Chillies, Mustard Seeds, Curry Leaves, Turmeric, Salt, Oil
Take a pan and heat some water
Soak the green gram in water for 3 hours
Grind the soaked green gram into a paste and add some asafoetida, salt, 3 tsp of oil, baking soda
Place the mixed preparation in a wet cloth which itself will be placed in a strainer bowl
Place the strainer bowl with the prepared mixture over the boiling water and close it with a lid
Coom for 10 mins
Take a pan and heat 2 tsp of oil
Add some cumin & mustard seeds, some bengal gram & white lentils
Add a few sliced green chillies & dry red chillies
Add some asafoetida and some curry leaves
Add a bowl of tamarind juice
Add a pinch of turmeric powder
Add a little jaggery
Add salt as required
Take the steamed green gram mixture into a plate
Cut the green gram mixture into cubes
Add them into the boiling tamarind juice
Make sure they're cooked evenly
Take the dish into a serving bowl
