AOA’s Mina Explains Why She Thinks It Would Be Difficult To Date Within FNC Entertainment
Recently AOAs Mina sat down to talk about her recent drama Hospital Ship, in which she appeared with her FNC labelmate CNBLUEs Kang Min Hyuk.
When asked whether she depended on him during the long, secluded island filmings, Mina said honestly, Hes my senior at my company, but we dont really interact.
Weve never sat down to have a personal meal or a cup of coffee together. Weve met while preparing for FNC concerts and here and there at the agency, but we werent close friends or anything.
We did get a bit closer while filming the drama. Since hes my senior labelmate, he would buy me food during the filming when he had time.. Soompi. Display. News. English. 300x250. Mobile. English. 300x250. ATF.
Agencies like SM, JYP, and YG are known for having close relationships between junior and senior idols, often appearing on each others social media pages. Occasionally there have also been much-publicized relationships between labelmates at those agencies as well.
However, Mina said about FNC, I dont think the seniors and juniors at our company are close in that way. When we were trainees, we didnt even dream of dating [one another].
Now I think we could get closer, but we just dont interact that much. When we see each other at the company, of course we cheer each other on, and CNBLUE and FTISLAND treat us really well as seniors so were grateful.
But theres no one that feels like a really close older brother or anything. I feel like its harder to get close because were labelmates..
She added with a smile, Its not that I think dating within the workplace is impossible or that I would never do it. It depends on the situation.
Even looking at my drama, Hospital Ship, shows that its possible. But at FNC Entertainment? I dont know. I think it would be difficult..
FNC Entertainment, while also managing several well-known comedians and actors, is home to idols such as FTISLAND, CNBLUE, AOA, N. Flying, SF9, and HONEYST.
