A Toothless Easter
One early spring Easter afternoon,
there was a boy named, Franklin,
sitting underneath the slide reading his book while his friends were playing.
While Franklin was reading his book and playing with his friends,
his father summoned for him, “Franklin, come inside!”
Franklin heard his father’s voice, so he tells his friends,
“My dad’s calling me. I’d better go. Bye!”
Franklin wonders, “What do you my parents want? What did I do now?” while running home.
Franklin arrives home. He hurriedly runs into the house since the door is wide open.
When Franklin enters into the house,
he yells, “Yes mom. What do you wa...AHHHHH!”
he slips on the rug and blacks out.
Franklin’s mom runs over to try to wake him up worriedly.
She prays and yells, “Franklin! Franklin! Wake up!”
After she does that, he slowly moves and wakes up in a daze.
Once Franklin regained full consciousness,
his mom nervously tells him,
“Franklin, you loss...”
She breaks in tears.
She then continues, “You loss five teeth.”
After hearing the news, Franklin cries hysterically and asks,
“What do we do?” while his mom put his missing teeth in a cup full of milk.
Franklin’s mom replies,
"We are going to the dentist now to see if he can fix it.”
They speed off in the car.
Franklin and his mom drove up to the dentist office, parked the car,
and then walked to the dentist office.
Once they arrived to the office, Franklin’s mom explained to the receptionist the horrific situation.
When the receptionist heard the news, he immediately brought Franklin and his mom into the examination room.
Shortly after Franklin and his mom walked into the examination room,
the dentist entered to perform the exam on Franklin’s loss teeth and his mouth.
When the dentist looked at Franklin’s missing teeth and damaged mouth
he quickly realized and said in sorrow tone,
“Unfortunately, I am unable to save and repair these teeth. Luckily though,”
in a happier voice said,
“these are your baby teeth, so you will have another set coming in soon to replace these.”
After hearing the news, Franklin and his mom thanked the dentist. They then leave for home.
As time progressed over the years,
Franklin finally received his permanent teeth
and was able to show off his pearly whites.
Nevertheless, he would never forget that toothless Easter.
The End
