I think it’s important that psychotherapy be available. Some people enjoy the opportunity
of a non-judgmental other party to hear what’s going on in one’s life and deepest concerns.
Other people find support through family, through friends, and that’s meaningful and
adequate. So, psychotherapy can be a very useful, short-term tool to deal with a disruption,
reflect on what’s brought meaning in the past, and how that might continue in the future,
or meaning might be found in different ways.
