In this segment we are going to cover my opponent has put me in the back corner and I have to
get to the front forehand corner so I have to get to that corner, hit the shot, come
back to the tee and then go back up to the front wall. So once again we are doing it
without a ball. It is really learning to see the ball in your mind and then step to the
right position so to demonstrate I go to the back corner, I hit the ball, my opponent hits
me in the front corner so now I will move up there and hit it or whatever I want to
do. So that is the idea of this drill is just to learn how to go to this area and that area
quickly. If you have access to a court that is convenient always do that but you can do
this in your back yard, at a park, I've done it at the beach in the sand or at a volleyball
court which is about twice as hard because when you move in the sand each step is a lot
tougher so you can see how it becomes like a dance. So we'll go full speed for a full
seconds here.
So the faster you can cover these shots the better your game will get.
