On Tuesday, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh began
the last day of their Royal Tour of Canada at the Ontario Legislative
Building in Toronto, Ontario.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburg met with the Premier of Ontario
and other dignitaries and proceeded to the West lobby,
acknowledging and meeting guests along the way.

At the provincial reception, The Queen was invited to present
scrolls to four recipients of the Ontario Medals for Good Citizenships.

Following the reception, The Queen was invited to unveil
a plaque commemorating the 150th anniversary of
the naming of Queen’s Park.
The plaque reads in part,
“Officially opened by the Prince of Wales during the Royal Tour of 1860."

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburg proceeded toward
the East end of Queen’s Park where they were greeted by
the Governor General of Canada, The Prime Minister of Canada,

the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Premier of Ontario and other dignitaries.

The Royal Salute, followed by a 21-gun salute

and the inspection of the Guard of Honour
by Her Majesty concluded the Official Ceremony.

Before their departure from Queen’s Park,
The Royal Couple bid farewell to Canadians and dignitaries.
Upon their arrival at the Toronto Pearson International Airport,
The Queen accompanied by the Prime Minister of Canada,
admired the new Canada Border Services Agency badge.
More than 7,200 uniformed officers of the Agency will
wear this new badge in 1,200 points across Canada
and 39 international locations.

It was time for Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness,
The Duke of Edinburgh to say farewell to Canada.
This concluded their 9-day Royal Tour on Canadian soil and
The Queen’s 22nd Tour of Canada as Queen.
