Hello there! Today I'm going to be showing you my cobblestone generator. It runs on two
basic principles: one is that when flowing lava and water meet, it creates cobblestone;
and two is that no matter how much you try, a piston cannot push more than twelve blocks.
Here's twelve... And here's what happens if you try and put another one... Nothing! It
just doesn't activate. So based on that principle, the cobblestone generator uses a one-clock
to quickly move the pistons holding the water and lava apart, and then push it out towards
this piston line, which then pushes them up. I'll show you what happens when it reaches
the top.
As you can see, it stops moving up, so then these pistons push it out instead, and of
course that's on both sides. So, you get 286 cobblestone before the pistons stop moving
and the generator stops generating new cobblestone. That's about all there is to it; if you'd
like to see a build, let me know... otherwise, that's just a quick demonstration!
