I think the main problem with the political system is
there's been a, sort of a morphing and a homogenizing of the parties where the left and the right or
the Republicans and the Democrats argue about their differences
without really trying to explain why their way is any better than the other side's way.
Yet they continue to seem to move ultimately in the same direction
maybe one moving faster than the other and it doesn't seem like there's any room
for free and critical thinking and the process without being marginalized immediately
as a radical right-wing, you know, extremist or a left-wing extremist.
Returning to the basic constitutional guidelines and principles that the country was founded on.
Honestly? Not really. Not really. Ah, I am a conservative but I don't support Mitt Romney.
I don't think that he represents, ah, the principles of his party very well.
Ah, I think he's a talking head. And obviously because I'm a conservative I don't agree with much of
what Obama stands for and what he is in support of.
So given that those will be my two options as it appears today I'm not really very hopeful
that I'm gonna have a very great choice. And another four years of Obama in my mind
will be detrimental but honestly I don't have much hope that four years of Romney would be a whole lot better.
