Welcome back to Silent Hill, a program that isn't owned by stupid-*** patching programs like Origin which corrupts
half my games forcing me to reinstall. Never mind, never mind.
I shall take my frustration out on demon nurses.
Also, Fraps is a retard.
Seriously, Silent Hill 2 is fairer about running on my computer than Origin games. Keep in mind it needs a
separate resolution setter and I have to exit the menu to set the affinity to 1 because Silent Hill 2 loathes multicore
processors on PCs.
ANYWAY. Exploring the hospital now. It is advisable to go into every room because even if there is a key item,
there is ammo and health pick-ups.
Ampoules are full heals. They are rare and I haven't even used one on the last boss.
Reason why this is slow is because Fraps is having an aneurysm.
No telling how I'm going to record Silent Hill 2 if can't even handle PS1 graphics.
Think it's locked, Harry m'dear.
YES
HELL YEAH.
Ahem.
Fraps doesn't like my hammer. SCREW YOU FRAPS
Time for some ownage.
Let's put some Macin' in the Mason.
Music sounds like a bell and a set of keys in a blender.
By the tune of "I've Been Working on the Railroad".
I've been killing up the hospital staff
All the hell-world night long...
Harry's holding his, uh, hammer to provoke the doctor's...wrong?
I can hear my radio blasting, I know you're in here, drunk
I can hear your screams protesting, *** die you ***.
This is not making the hammer look good...come on, Harry...I can't bloody see over the pots...
Divine retribution to all the doctors who told Harry to stop eating supersized Happy Burgers.
This will be fun on normal.
Right, one of the main missions of the hospital, is to find four plates for a door in the nurse center.
The red one you shall find in the director's office, first floor.
Also a save point.
And a...a noise.
I know you're out there.
"*** high cholestrol, I will eat as many mayonaise packets I WANT!"
9 out of 10 doctors can KISS MY HAMMER.
Fraaaaaaps...RAGE
Beg your pardon for the jittery quality.
Yes, five steps constitutes a map check. Problem?
Mmmm...is there anything in here or is this another "***-you" room?
Ah, bullets, nice.
When you expect the scare, doesn't come. That's what makes it so great, is you don't suspect it unless you've
played it before.
Seemingly harmless window.
I expected that and it still scared me.
Harry has a firm grip on his whacker. AHEM.
Where haven't I been?
Doctor, doctor, I feel like a nail...
"I expect you're a little HAMMERED."
I'm sorry, it was almost obligatory.
Can't tell if it's Camtasia or the video now...nope, Fraps. Great.
I'm expecting it to just bite the dust if I ever record anything with more than 360 pixels...
Well, we're ***.
This is ridiculous. Maybe I ought to try running it on a single core. Maybe it'd behave...
Skipping forward to a more recent memory.
This is the birdcage room on the third floor. It is important. Keep it in mind.
Testing out if Fraps was going to behave for us...
Alright, we've reached an agreement. Fraps runs smoothly or I'm using Bandicam.
Right, another important room.
Ah, the 90s.
We have no videos. Guess we'll go to Blockbuster.
What was a good 90s movie in Silent Hill time?
Nope, I'm wrong. Apparently this game was in the 80s. (The story, not the release.) But I got that off the Wiki,
so it's not a vetted timeline.
Helloooooooo nurse.
Obligatory Animaniac's reference. Check.
Don't worry about this thing, we won't do anything with it in this hospital segment.
We return here in a later part, so some of this stuff isn't meant to collect until later.
Come to think of it, the birdcage might be, too.
Yep, we won't *** with the birdcage until later.
Maybe you should wash your clothes, you've been getting demon blood all over yourself.
Come on, nursie. I know you want Harry's hammer in your face. Ahem.
I love my hammer.
DERP
Ah, derping is fun. Sadly the only way to get it in the other games is to put the game difficulty on Hard and I'm not a
***.
Annoying music is annoying.
HEALTH KIT. GET IT.
Yes, we do need this. Blood doping time!
So, there was a room with a squiggly thing that was blocking a doo-dad we need for a puzzly-poo.
This...is not it.
Though, we do get get an unguarded one.
("Blackhole Sun" by Soundgarden) Blood-red rust...won't you lift...and take away the nurses...
Now we can easily access the elevator. Which is pointless because we can't access the other floors other
than the stairs.
See? Pointless.
DERP
Trying to find the squiggly room...
Nope.
Goddamnit. Find it in the next episode, which should be uploaded with this one.
