What are you going to cook for us today? Pallila Payasam
Ingredients required for Pallila Payasam
Ground Nuts, Milk, Cashew Nuts, Dry Coconut, Raisins, Sugar, Milkmaid & Ghee
First soak one cup of ground nuts with four cashew nuts in water for four hrs
Now grind the soaked and peeled ground nuts and cashew nuts into a paste
Now heat some ghee in a pan
Add some cashew nuts into the pan
Fry them for a while & keep them aside
Now add some raisins into the pan
Fry them for a while & keep them aside
Add some grated dry coconut into the pan
Fry them for a while & keep them aside
Now add the ground nut and cashew nut paste into the pan
Let it cook for five minutes
Add some water into the pan
Add one cup of milk into the pan & mix well
Now let it cook for five minutes
Add two spoons of milk maid into the pan & mix well
Add some cardamom powder into the pan & mix well
Now let it cook for five minutes
Add three spoons of sugar into the bowl & mix well
Now let it cook for some time until the sugar melts
Take the Pallila Payasam into a serving bowl
Now top the dish with fried cashew nuts, grated coconut, raisins and raw coconut pieces
