Starts the disconnection
air and energy are running off
No one left in control
the spacecraft drifts
And I with melancholy vision
review science and religion
I point to the sun through the window
I lived there
A tiny blue point
gets lost in a million sparks
It is my planet at a day light
and a perspective lesson
And I
scared to death in a corner
think of my civilization
I whisper in the command bridge
that I lived there
Then I break into mourn
And thousands droplets defy gravity
I take off my spacesuit’s flag
And write on the back
I belong to humanity
As indicated by the monitor
it is remaining less time
To suffer the collision
that will return me to the firmament
And I
hear the echo of my voice
recording this broadcast
To sound in the future
and serve as lesson
Then I break into mourn
And thousands droplets defy gravity
I take off my spacesuit’s flag
and write on the back
I belong to humanity
the fragile existence miraculous and casual
The smallest life worth a thousand times more
than the greatest nation
Ever to be invented
