This is Day 8 and we're on our way to Belo Horizonte.
In fact this is just a transition flight as we have no named locations.
But what we do do when we're working is all keep our eyes out for anything that we might
see happening in the landscape below.
Can you see anything in front, Simon?
(Simon) - Yeah I can see some clouds and dust in front of us, which looks like there's probably
some combine harvesting going on.
(Richard) - OK. Then let's go down and see what it looks like.
Here's a classic case - you have some combine harvester action, so we'll go down low, do
some filming.
We've just filmed some Brazilian cows that we spotted in a field, and we're able to go
quite low around it.
And Simon and I obviously can talk together and try and get the best shots possible.
But of course what you see and what we'll cut in this evening is what we call the 'raw
footage'.
Of course it'll have quick zooms, pans... Ben will be focusing...
When we get back into the edit room we can of course put it together... properly make
a nice 45 second sequence out of probably maybe a minute-and-a-bit's worth of filming.
We did go round once and we may have added no more than about 40 seconds to our flying
time. But actually what we get are some great pictures and close-ups of Brazilian cattle.
One of the great things about filming in Brazil actually is we have the same team together
that has filmed many of the states in America.
I've got Ben sitting... actually filming this, when he should be paying attention to the...
(Laughter OS)
I'll do that again...
...Ben who is sitting actually filming this, but who controls the camera to a certain extent,
shared with me.
And in the front - Simon, who I've flown with now for a number of years including many of
the states in America...
And of course Jorge our Brazilian pilot. And it's been great fun having him along and also
he's been learning about aerial filming.
Tomorrow we fly from Belo Horizonte, past some national parks, back to Sao Paolo, where
we started...
...and the end end of our journey.
