Yo this is your man xtra H
with an extra special edition of ask the adobe ones the 50th episode.
Today, due to popular demand I'm going to show you a step by step tutorial
for creating your very own TSA style nude scan image using Photoshop! Yeah!
That's right, why wait in line for airport security when you can go in prepared ahead of time with your home made nude scan?
Ok, maybe this won't help you get through security but I'm pretty sure it could at least make a pretty cool facebook profile picture.
So lets get right to it. First, if you don't already have it get a free trial of Adobe Photoshop from adobe.com.
Next, take a fully clothed full body picture of yourself against a not too cluttered background.
You might want to mount your camera on a tripod and use a timer if you want to do it yourself.
Next, you take the same pose but this time with as less cloths as you could.
Of course if you are too shy to do that like me, xtra-h
you can always just wear the underwear on top super man style and the effect will work almost the same as a real nude.
Now, open them in Photoshop and lay out the back and front views next to each other by selecting them and moving like that.
Copy and paste the other view and paste it next to it.
Then make selections of the areas you want to reveal from the "nude" versions and feather the selection so you have some smooth edges.
Copy and paste them on top of the clothed versions.
You might want to reduce the opacity a bit to make it look a little more ghostly.
When you are happy with the layout flatten the image into one layer by choosing flatten from here.
Next, you want to cutout the shape of the body so you can apply some edge effects.
Depending on how clear your background is you might want to use a technique like using the quick selection tool or the magic wand.
You need to double click on this layer on the layers panel and click ok to unlock it.
Select the background then hit the delete key to delete it.
Then make a new layer and fill it with white with edit fill white using edit, fill, white.
Then move the white layer behind the picture layer.
Now I want you to add an inner glow effect from the layer styles.
First change the blend mode to normal and click on the color and make it black.
Adjust the size so it's not too thin or too filling then reduce the opacity to make it subtle.
You can also add another layer of glow by adding an inner shadow with zero distance
and this time you can keep it thinner to give a more defined edge effect.
Ok, we are almost there, lets add an adjustment layer to make it black and white.
Now add another adjustment layer this time make it color balance, make it slightly yellowish or brownish.
This also is something you can tweak later so lets move on to where the magic happens.
You guessed it right, I want you to add an adjustment layer with the invert effect
and check it out. Your very own home made TSA style back scatter x-ray simulation image!
Don't forget to save your work first as a psd file then reduce the size to about 800 pixels wide and save it as a jpeg
to reveal to the world how cool you look on the nude scan!
But hey, as an added bonus you can hide a bomb in your underwear.
So if you have one at home you can take a picture of it of just search online for royalty free images of bombs
and paste it under the adjustment layers and set the blend mode to multiply.
Now that's sure to get you an extra enhanced spanking!.... I mean pat down.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial and if you have any other requests related to Adobe tools do send a video question link or email to
ask@adobe.com or add me on twitter as adobe1.
And you can sneak in your nude scan if you really have to.
Here on Ask the Adobe Ones, we say do ask, do tell. Peace out!
Hey, if you re-touch my junk I'm gona have you arrested.
