What's good. This is Fevir with some more Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn content.
In this video we'll be looking at the Conjurer class, specifically the Conjurer's abilities
and traits, as well as the Conjurer playstyle within Final Fantasy 14.
The Conjurer is Final Fantasy 14's defensive based caster. That means healer. Now I normally
find healers ultra boring- because they can't have complex mechanics because you don't want
to turn away any people who may be interested in the class... since Conjurers like any healer
are always a hot commodity.
I find that the most interesting thing about the class is that some of the better abilities
are transferable- such as Cure, Protect, Raise and Stoneskin. Meaning that most classes who
want solo potential will probably look into the class... but the interesting part is that
through the use of traits- these abilities really change and chisel out the strengths
of the Conjurer.
Cure- as a transferable skill allows for some healing, but as a Conjurer, Cure and it's
more advanced for will have a chance for the next cure to be critical or cost nothing.
Protect- normally just giving physical defense- as a Conjurer it will give magic defense as
well
Raise- A resurrect spell, that if a Conjurer is usable in combat
Stoneskin... well this ability basically gives you 10% Max HP shield... which is pretty amazing
as it- Conjurers boost that up to 18%.
DPS wise... or should I say solo-wise, since this class isn't going to be topping meters,
but there is an ability that will actually make your offensive spells, which you actually
have a couple of, more powerful and healing less powerful.. therefore enabling you to
solo even as a healer.
Overall.. It's a healer class. The traits add a nice touch, and is the first instance
of some really cool traits ability interactions I've seen.
That said, I probably won't play a Conjurer, I'm far too aggressive.. but I know that I
and everyone else will constantly be on the lookout for goods ones.
Peace.
