First things first, you have to sign into your account.
Once here, you have to find your way to where you can create a new page.
No... Not under "Content." Although, that would've been my guess too.
Here we are, under the "portfolio" tab, and now we can see the "Create Page" tab. Perfect!
Now we have a blank slate. So, let's give our portfolio a title.
The "Edit Title and Description" tab explains itself.
Your description will appear on your portfolio underneath the title. It is fine to leave the description blank.
We can also change the layout to suit our needs.
The default layout is 3 columns. I always change that. You should pick what works best for you.
Under the "General" tab, we can drop in a text box. Just drag and drop it into the column where you want to add text.
Now we're going to go copy our portfolio letter and bring it back here.
I used Ctrl+C, which is not very video friendly, but it does the job.
Back on the portfolio builder, I can paste in the text from another application.
Check the formating.
We've got ourselves a nice portfolio letter.
The "Files, Images, and Video" tab is where we can upload documents and other files to the portfolio.
The "File(s) to Download" tool places a file onto your page for readers to download.
Now, this first document is something I had already uploaded to the website. So, we can just select and save.
But what if we want to add something we haven't uploaded yet?
We check the box that says we "own" the document and click to choose a file.
The file we've uploaded is selected already.
We can click the edit buttons on any element to change the names displayed on the page.
We can change any text on the page, we just have to know where to look to edit.
"Theme" sets the color scheme. We only have a few choice here.
When we think the page is ready, we can take a look at what other readers will see by clicking "Display Page."
That's all there is to it. I'd still make a few changes before turning this in, but the basic idea should be clear.
