This is how to refill Konica Minolta 2400-series cartridges. In this video, we will be refilling
a cyan cartridge. The procedure is the same for all the cartridges.
An original cartridge set costs upwards of $250. Why not refill your perfectly good,
but empty cartridges from as low as $79.95.
Let me show you how you too can save 70%!
Step 1. Remove the toner cap.
Step 2. Empty out all the old toner. This is very important because if you have two
different toners in the cartridge at the same time, your print quality will be compromised.
Here is a bottle of InkOwl’s high-quality Konica Minolta 2400-series toner.
Step 3. Pour the whole bottle right into the cartridge.
Step 4. Put the cap back into place.
Step 5. Remove these four screws.
Step 6. Lift up this metal blade to reveal the excess toner compartment. Empty out all
the excess toner. For some cartridges, you will need to bend the metal contact on the
left to open the excess toner compartment.
Step 7. Screw in the four screws you removed earlier.
We will now replace the cartridge’s smart chip. Replacement chips are always included
in InkOwl toner kits when needed. Note that replacing the chip is not usually required
for the 2400 and 2430 printers.
Step 8. Use a miniature screwdriver to remove the original chip.
Step 9. Install the replacement chip.
Congratulations, your cartridge is ready to be installed! By filling all four cartridges,
you will save yourself $170 and throw four less cartridges into the landfill.
Take a moment, think green, think refilling, think INKOWL!
