This is tutorial of Kasino (Casino) card game and the reversed version of it.
First the rules of normal version (5min)
Here we have two players. (Bunny is the dealer.)
Special card values in hand: Aces = 14, two of spade: 15, ten of diamonds: 16
...in table the values are like normal, Aces are 1. Casino is played by 2-4 players, without Joker-cards.
First we draw 4 cards to each player and 4 to table. After the first deal we don't draw cards to table.
Each player chooses to play one card from his/her hand in his/her turn.
The table has 11 (=Jack), 6, 5 and 12 (=Queen)
The dog has 4, 8, 10 and 12
The goal is to get a sum value combination of a hand card from the table.
E.g. If you had 11 in hand and you chose to play it, you would get 5+6 (=11) and Jack (=11) from the table.
You can't get nothing using 10, 8 or 4, so the dog selects to play the Queen (=12)
...and gets the queen from table. The used cards go to the dog's collection pile.
...next is the bunny's turn...
The only card bunny can get is the 6.
...next is the dog's turn...
No sums there, so the dog has to place one card to the table.
The bunny selects a card of 9. (4+5=9)
In the end spades may have some extra value. So, bunny uses the nine of spades.
When no hand cards left, new sets of 4 cards are drawn (but not to the table anymore).
The dog can get cards using either 8 or 11.
..the game goes on. When all the cards are used, the deal is over, the points are calculated and the dealer changes.
The game end when a player reaches 16 points. But before calculation of points, some more examples...
Let's say that the table would have cards so that you could make several combinations:
For example: With card 10 you would get 10 and 8 and 2. (10 = 10 and 2+8 = 10)
Ace value is 14 in hand, 1 in table. In the end you get one score point by every ace you got.
Two of spades is a special card. Its value is in hand is 15, in table it is just normal 2.
In the end you get additional score point if you have the two of spades in your collection pile.
Ten of diamonds is a special card. Its value is in hand is 16, in table it is just normal 10.
In the end you get additional score two points if you have the ten of diamonds in your collection pile.
The player who has most cards gets an additional point. The player who has most spades gets additional 2 points.
Points: Aces (4x): 1, 2?: 1, 10?: 2, Most ?: 2, cards: 1 (So there are total of 10 points in one deck.)
This applies only if: There are still cards left in the draw-deck and no-one has over 10 score points.
The full house is marked as follows... (Turned one in other side up in the collection pile.)
If every player have a full house, they will neutralize each others.
That's it, now the reversed version (better game)...
The rules are basically the same but now we try to avoid getting the score points.
...as long as possible.
But the card can't be inserted to the table, if there is ANY of its sum combination.
As usual, draw the cards also to the table in this first deal of the deck.
The dog starts...
Seven doesn't fit (5+2=6). Ace fits! (No sum of 14 found.)
Ace is a hard card to get rid of. So the dog plays it.
Oh, the bunny has an ace as well.
No sum of 14 still found so the bunny plays the ace.
Now, the dog would get with 7 (1+1+5=7 and 2+5=7),
We try to avoid points now, so no thanks, only the ten of spades would be left to the table.
With a King (=13)... (the dog has two of those, so let's use the non-spade)
Sum of 13 is 1+2+10. Or you could also use 5+5+1+2.
The dog selects these and get those to dog's collection pile.
The bunny avoids points by playing the eight of spades.
Both seven and King (=13) fits, so the dog selects the one with more value.
The bunny has to take (10 or 10+1) and selects the 10.
The only card to fit the table is the five. So the dog prefers to play that.
The bunny is the dealer so the dog starts every deal with this deck.
...and so the game goes on...
...remaining cards in the table. The player to get the last card from table get these cards also.
Then when the deck is over and the points are scored...
...the scores are calculated as in the other version.
