>> ANCHORS: Fraternity brothers at RIT are cycling for 100 consecutive hours. The newly
chartered chapter Pi Kappa Phi is pedaling for Push America. It's an organization dedicated
to disability awareness. YNN reporter Wendy Mills is at RIT with more on the efforts.
>> REPORTER: Well, Pi Kappa Phi started cycling Monday and they won't stop until Friday afternoon.
They're pedaling for 100 consecutive hours for Push America. The organization looks to
bring social awareness to people with disabilities. Now many of these fraternity brothers volunteer
with the ARC of Monroe County bowling team. These guys are riding for donations. Fifty-five
brothers cycle in shifts around their class schedules.
>> JOSH ROBERTS: It's an unmatchable experience. It's been really awesome so far. I spent all
of last night out here. Started at 8 p.m. and I'm still here this morning. It's really
an important thing for us to service, so we love giving back to our national philanthropy
and it's always a good time.
>> REPORTER: Now you can drop donations right at the cycle booth. It's set up at the center
of campus on the Quarter Mile, right near the tiger statue. There's also a raffle you
can get involved in and you can always mail donations to Pi Kappa Phi at 34 Lomb Memorial
Drive. That's Rochester, 14623. Of course, make those checks out to Push America. Again
the guys will be riding out here until Friday at 2:00. Reporting from RIT, Wendy Mills,
YNN.
