So here we have a common toothpaste. The main ingredient in toothpaste that is proofing
to be very controversial is fluoride. It's in our drinking water. It's meant to prevent
cavities. The thing that I would say about that is that if you keep a clean mouth and
rinse your mouth out with baking soda on a daily basis, peppermint oil, tea tree oil,
again these kill bacteria. And then if you want to work on the tartar removal, use baking
soda mixed with salt. Salt is an incredible scrubber and it gets down. My mother had us
use baking soda and salt blends on our teeth. It's good for fighting gingivitis and tartar.
So if you just keep a clean mouth, you use water picks, you floss, then your need for
fluoride begins to drop. Even in the cavity-prone years for children, just getting them to rinse
out with tea tree oil or peppermint oil and baking soda and salt.
