Welcome to Topaz Basics. CUA Instructional Technology presents
tutorials to assist with creation and management of the university web pages.
Learning goals for this tutorial include: adding new content areas using the HTML editor,
and learning to save content areas. Click on the green plus button in the top
right corner to create a new content box above the current one.
Click on the green plus button in the bottom right corner to create a new
content box below the current one.
Ignore the content details tab. At the top of the content box click the HTML editor tab.
This tab holds the editor tools.
The Topaz editor function similar to Microsoft Word, but they're not the same.
There are basic word processing tools such as bold, italics, and underline.
Tab won't indent in a web browser so use the indent tool located on the right side of the editor under the strikethrough tool.
To save content in the new content area click 'add content.'
New content will be lost if you click 'discard changes'
or close the browser without adding the content. Thank you for watching. Please
