Four bodies have been recovered from the remnants of two Connecticut homes that burned after
a small plane crashed into them Friday.
The plane was reportedly attempting to land at Connecticut's Tweed New Haven Airport in
rainy conditions when it veered into the houses at around 11:25 a.m., setting both on fire.

The New Jersey Star-Ledger reports two children, a 13-year-old and 1-year-old, were among those
killed. They were in one of the homes at the time of the crash.
"A neighbor actually heard a woman screaming that her kids were inside the burning home
in the moments after that plane crashed." (Via WSVN)
The other two bodies found were those of the pilot and his teenage son. They were reportedly
traveling to visit colleges.
According to East Haven's mayor the scene was "total devastation." (Via WXIX)
Neighbors reported hearing a loud boom, then seeing the fire when the plane went down.
It was reportedly en route from New Jersey when the crash happened. (Via NECN)
Airport officials say there was no sign of distress prior to the crash.
