AUBIE Asks @ the Libraries! This video will highlight some of the services
available at RBD Library. For starters, wifi is available throughout the building and the
library is open 24 hours a day, 5 days a week, along with weekend hours too.
On the first floor, is the Circulation and Reserve Desk. This is where you check out
library materials, such as books, as well as items that professors put on reserve for
classes. Your student ID is required to check out materials.
You can check out other items, such as laptops, study rooms and headphones.
Also on the first floor is the Media and Digital Resource Lab. Here you'll find PC's, Mac's,
scanners, large printers, and editing software. A computer lab is on the first floor, along
with the Study Commons which is equipped with booths and tables for group or individual
study. The Learning Commons is on the second floor.
In the Learning Commons is the Reference Desk, a place to ask research questions.
The Learning Commons is a great area for group study. It provides desktop computers, furniture
that can be moved around easily, whiteboards, and lots of places to charge your phones,
tablets, and laptops. Study Partners and the Writing Center are
also located on the 2nd floor. These services provide tutoring and help with writing.
At the Mell Street entrance on the 2nd floor you can purchase study supplies at the Study
ER, as well as drinks and snacks at Caribou Coffee.
And if you'd like to study in the quiet, check out the 4th floor, the designated quiet
floor. Remember our email address, askalibrarian@auburn.edu
