Hi! On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Jean Hurley from Siegels Day Spa Therapy
in Cottonwood, Arizona. I am here to tell you about cranio-sacral therapy. This was
discovered by a man name John Upledger in 1971 and he was assisting in a neurosurgery
and was told to hold some certain nerves still and he found out that these nerves had a movement
of their own that was unrelated to his pulse or to the lymphatic system and he discovered
that by simply holding the head still that is not such a simple task. It has its own
rhythm and movement of its own. Cranio-sacral relates from the sacral area of the body to
the cranium, a fluid that moves up and down the spine column and through its own movement
we can help relieve pain, pressure, and fatigue in all areas of the body. I am going to start
with 10 simple holds and you can base an entire hour to hour and half release therapy session
on these 10 holds.
