Retrofit offers you the tools and the team needed to lose weight for good.
When you join Retrofit, you receive a wireless activity tracker and a Wi-Fi
body composition scale. The activity tracker is a small clip-on device you
wear on a belt, waistband, or even an undergarment. It keeps track of your
physical activity during the day and your sleep at night, and delivers that
data wirelessly to your own personalized online Retrofit dashboard. The Wi-
Fi scale is equally simple to use. Every morning, just step on the scale to
measure your current weight, your body fat versus lean mass percentage, and
your body mass index, or BMI. This information too, is delivered to your
Retrofit dashboard.
After gathering detailed information about you, we identify your specific
weight loss challenges and match you with your own Retrofit weight loss
team, including a registered dietician, an exercise physiologist and a
behavior coach. Your team members are experts in the key skill development
areas of nutrition, fitness, or mindset. You meet with one of these team
members each week during the weight loss phase of your Retrofit program.
Meetings take place via online video conference, so they fit with your busy
schedule whenever and wherever it's convenient. At the office, on the road,
or at your home, we create a schedule to suit your lifestyle.
Each session, we review the week's results, evaluate your progress, and
address specific challenges you may be facing, like helping you choose
smart options at your favorite restaurant or helping you find time for
physical fitness in your schedule. Throughout the program, you are also
assigned a program advisor, who functions as your personal weight loss
concierge. Your advisor can help with all aspects of the program, from
appointment scheduling to tracking your progress and achieving your program
goal.
The Retrofit skill-building programs are designed to produce safe and
sustainable weight reduction. Instead of concentrating on simply losing
pounds short-term, our program focuses on losing an achievable percentage
of body weight and building the skills you need to be successful managing
your weight for life. The basic skills program incorporates 12 private
sessions with your team of experts, designed to deliver, at least, ten
percent weight loss, sustained through the end of the 12-month program. The
advanced skills program includes 24 sessions, designed to deliver, at
least, 15% overall weight loss, sustained through the end of the 12-month
program.
Both plans require your dedication for a full year, including weighing
yourself regularly on your Wi-Fi scale, wearing your wireless activity
tracker everyday, answering intake questions to help your expert team
understand your challenges, attending all scheduled sessions with your
wellness team, and following your personal program to the best of your
ability. We are dedicated to getting you to your goal and keeping you
there. If you are participating fully in each of these steps and don't hit
the ten or 15% program goal, we will provide a second year of services
free. Slow and steady weight decline is achievable. Our advisory board
