Hello, I'm Robert Cheeke, president of Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness based here in Portland,
Oregon. And today, on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to do a tutorial all about being
vegan. In this clip, I'm going to talk about how to find the foods to eat if you really,
really like meat, but just don't want to eat animals anymore. So those kind of maybe transitioning
to a vegan diet. You can see this whole rack here is jerky, it's soy based, you can even
see it's listed right on there. See that low-fat, meatless, and vegan soy jerky listed right
on there. So not only that, it doesn't stop there. We have Italian sausage that's all
vegan. In fact this is a local company here to Hood River, Oregon, Tofurky. You can even
get bacon, again these are the meat analogs, the meat replacements. These are vegan versions
of these types of foods. We have big blocks of cheese that sat vegan right on them, it's
a vegan cheese. This is a soy based one. This is a parmesan cheese, it says vegan right
on there, vegan parmesan. So these are all types of things, this is just the tip of the
iceberg. There's so many things out there that are analogs. Again, I like to focus on
plant-based whole foods, fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, seeds, but for years I've eaten
a lot of these things because these are a vegan replacement for these popular meat foods.
It helps a lot of people transition to a vegan lifestyle.
