Hi! In this video I will show you how to use Firstbeat SPORTS Quick recovery test
Start the quick recovery test wizard by clicking the quick recovery test button
This dialog will tell you what you have to take into account when you do the quick recovery test
This dialog will tell you what you have to take into account when you do the quick recovery test
Please read the information carefully
Notice that you can also create the quick recovery test report
from already collected data,
but remember that the testing protocol has to always be the same for reliable test results
Next, check that you have the team receiver connected to the computer
and click "continue to real time test"
Now the heart rate belts appear in view
If you have not yet paired the user profiles to the belts,
select a profile for each heart rate belt
Before you start the test, check each test person's heart rate from the heart rate column,
so you can see if someone is not ready for the test
or has problems to relax before the test.
When the test persons are relaxed and ready for the test, click start.
Now the program starts to record heart rate variability data
for each selected user profile.
After 5 minutes, the test is completed
and the program asks you to add notes
for the test and select the test report language.
Next click "create report".
In the report you can see the team's average recovery status and the direction in which
the recovery status is going
and the same information for each individual
With this information the coaches can recognize athletes
who have an increased risk of overtraining
To confirm the test results it's recommended to select the athletes
who have very low recovery scores, to the overnight recovery test.
The quick recovery test together with the overnight recovery test
provides an easy and effective tool for tracking team and individual recovery status.
