Okay, so what we have here is Maggie in action.
Maggie has actually moved away from the tree because she thinks
there's a squirrel in the vicinity, so we'll see
if that actually happens.
Oh, there she goes into her let's wait and see position.
So I'll just show you the rest of the park
while she does her thing under the tree.
So I will pan up and we are looking at the Navy yard.
The park backs onto the parking lot for the Navy,
and, heading south, you see the Navy buildings, and then...
so it's a really big park, and we also see the lakefront.
So it's a beautiful, beautiful location,
Lots of room for dogs.
Small dogs can, basically, play up here in the north area,
and the large dogs...
if they want to be isolated from the large dogs, they can.
But the large dogs, basically, hang out in the south end,
and there are lots of picnic tables.
There are benches to sit.
There's, right across the little drive,
I guess you'd call it, and the bicycle path,
is a building, the Parks building,
and you can get water for your dogs there, if you run out,
because there isn't actually a fountain here.
But it's a fabulous location.
You can drive here from other areas of the city.
It's metered parking.
So I'm not quite sure what the rate is,
but most times you can find a place to park
and let your dog hang out in the park.
And, so, we're going full circle here.
Coming back to the Navy yard, and the parking lot.
So I did another video that showed more
of the south end of the dog park
and guess what?
Here she is...
still sitting under the tree.
So I guess there's been no squirrel action,
or we would have heard about it.
And there we go.
