I had my LASIK surgery the summer of 2012 and it went great. I flew out to New York,
out to Dr. Pamel's office where I was greeted by their awesome staff, and had a few evaluations
and a day later had my LASIK surgery and the next morning was seeing 20/20.
LASIK has affected my life in numerous ways, whether it be on the track or just in everyday
life. The hassle of, you know, not having to put contacts in and out of my eyes every
day has definitely been a headache that has been removed. And on the track I dont need
to worry about my contacts drying up, wrinkling up, and you know, folding up into my eyes
and getting lost somewhere in there. After getting lasik eye surgery last year
and this year being a very important year, being olympic year, having one less headache
of putting contacts in an out of my eyes, has been a huge advantage to every start of
my day, and every end of my day. it has had a huge impact and, you know, you're
worrying about 100 things and olympic year, one less thing to worry about is a really
nice thing.
