On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Eileen Duffey and I am here in Silva, New
York and today we are going to talk about fabrics. Our third fabric today, we are looking
at a lining fabric or sometimes called china silk; this is not a china silk. This is a
rayon and this is a very inexpensive fabric. It shouldn't be more than $5 or $6 a yard.
It is great to line jackets, skirts and pants and coats and used with the proper fabrics,
it helps the garment to keep its form. You can find this in New York City in the garment
district around 39th or 40th Street. It comes in a million colors and it is very useful
for jackets and coats.
