I'm going to be talking now about response cards and RSVP. The best thing to do is decide
first if you need to know. Maybe talk with your caterer, if you have a caterer, or if
you're doing it yourself, do you need to know how many guests are coming? How important
that is to you is one of the first questions you need to ask. And there's different ways
to ask guests to respond. You can just state at the bottom "Please RSVP to..." and your
name, and the phone number... whoever you want them to respond to. Or, you can have
them you know just regrets only, so only if they can't make it. RSVP is just something,
a very personal decision. You don't necessarily always need to use them. You can order cards
separately that ask people to respond--a card that they can mail back with a stamp already
on the response card, so it makes it very simple for your guest and for you when counting
the amount of guests you're going to have at your party. So you can decide whether that's
an important thing for you or not.
