meditation and tips I'm Sofia Cara your host and also the founder of path

share the feeling of peace not just at talking of peace but the feeling of
peace so I have been in the corporate world for many years and from there I
have transit ask for myself or with the divine call for last nine years I am

so this is this subject is so dear to my heart and to all of us
so again happy international peace month this is today the International Peace
month has started because September 21st is the Peace Day International Peace Day
so we will be sharing our thoughts about this but during this third 21 days we
will together learn what is International Peace Day how to celebrate
International Peace Day and why do people celebrate Peace Day this is also
called International Peace Day or International Day of Peace and also
Peace Day in short and also we'll be talking about why I just thought about
this particular subject this particular topic
inner peace to global peace what is peace what is inner peace we heard about
peace but what is inner peace what stops us for experiencing that inner peace how
to attain that inner peace that we all want so we will be going through several
steps and for 21 days we will be taking one particular step although they are
not synchronized or they are not like one step on the top of other step but
they're all lead to the blissful life
so while do we celebrate peace day the united nation declared the International
Day of Peace for September 21 21st throughout the world this has been
celebrated and during the celebration they recognized the efforts of the
people who worked very hard to establish the peace in the world so it is that
time to recognize time to appreciate people's effort and also it is basically
to me it is at time t good deep within myself reflect upon myself that am i in
peace or what can I do to have more peace in my life and also how can I
share this peace with others so it's not that peace is just for me peace is how
can I bring more peace in the family in the community in the society and to this
whole universe so people celebrate this international month or I would say
international date with September 21st but actually the activities started
right from the today so that's how we are going to celebrate but most of the
people celebrate through conferences through events and also they will be we
are going to have an event we have a one organization called initiative global
peace and prosperity initiative and under that
umbrella we are going to have these peace events in almost 196 countries and
so many countries are already help plan and we have planned so even during this
time the main thing is basically on that day it is called a ceasefire day so if
there is any dispute going on any fight going on any war going on that is that
day people observe ceasefire like many times we observe fast when they are we
are on diet or we are on some spiritual practices this is a spiritual practice
for the world to have a fast or have a ceasefire that particular day and we
wish that this ceasefire not only for that particular day at least for this
month and every day of the month or every day of our life there is no war
and it is a ceasefire of war so people have events they have
conferences they have a talks they have a march many people go and have a speech
march on many different places and they plant their dead dedicate many projects
for the peace like many people plant the trees right now that planting the tree
is going on in many countries and especially in India so many times people
have a picnics and barbecues and basically it's a celebration time so we
are and please send your heart to us if you like this program and how we
celebrate how path to under non celebrates so we offer the services to
homeless we offer the food to homeless during this month we do it more every
month but this whole month you're planning to do as much as we can
and lot more than what we usually do we also partner with other organizations
like as I mentioned the Global Peace Initiative peace and prosperity
initiative we are the partner with them so path to anandam works with them and
we basically promote not I wouldn't say promote but we basically work together
to bring the more peace in the world and we are going to have a many events in
the Bay Area in San Francisco area one of them is in Santa Cruz on September
17th another one will be in Cupertino so I will be sharing more information with
you on that one but also which is very close to my heart
giving this program inner peace to global peace that journey this 21 days
journey this blissful journey this blissful program with tips talks
meditation and this year I felt like that's not a coincident because the
peace day is September 21st and it's 21 days starting from today so divine
message came that I should start have this program starting today and actually
study shows that anytime we want to transform ourself or we want to develop
peace within ourself or have more happiness or more love feeling more Lao
having better relationship whatever habits we want to change whatever
behavior our unlike behavior we want to change whatever we want to transform it
takes about 21 days our subconscious mind to cleanse and with conscious mind
we replace the old habits and old messages
so it takes 21 days so again welcome back to 21 days this divine program
blissful journey program of inner peace to global peace so thank you very much

particular topic as the Lila Maggie said we can never obtain peace in the outer
world until we make peace with ourself so we have to make peace within ourself
if we do not make a peace within ourself and we start spreading it it's like
having a garbage and throwing garbage out so we have to first fill ourself
with peace and peace gives the birth to eternal happiness and it is affiliated
with love so there's a beautiful quote it says if there is a peace in the
person there will be peace in the family and if there is peace in the family
there will be peace in the home and if there is peace in the home there will be
peace in the community and if there is a peace in the community there will be
peace in the country and if there is a peace in the country there is a peace in
the world and when we have a peace in the world and we have a peace in within
ourself then we are ready to share with others so peace for me
feast peace for us and peace for all when we have all that then we can share
and we can create the peace in our community with Paul in the Pollack
in the environment so this global warming issues political issues which
are going on right now in so many places discrepancies of belief system
everything gets in order every school system gets in order our environment
gets in order our health gets in order our life gets in order so I thought
about all these things and I thought this is the best subject we can
cultivate peace within ourself during this 21 days and then when the day of
peace day the International Peace Day we can embark we can March it's so much
proud and so much power to share with rest of the world so this 21 days we are
going to cultivate the peace within ourself so let me ask you what do you
think then how would you like to celebrate peace day and peace in your
life if you can write the comments please write the comments if not what
you can do actually you can have a book you can just bring your notebook and on
the notebook just to start writing because this 21 days will be a more
interactive session during this interactive yes during our interaction
with each other if you can put your notes and whenever I say certain things
I my you might want to write it down so here write down
and for yourself how am I going to celebrate peace day on September 21st
and also how am I going to have more peace in my life because we are going to
manifest cultivate and manifest more and more peace in within ourselves within
our body within our environment so write down that what areas of peace you want

asking you another question what do you think what is peace means to you thank

you and it says the peace is a lake of conflict and freedom from fear of
violence between heterogeneous social groups we can all relate to it what it
means here is the social group and when it says social group it's a very broad

etcetera if you're talking about the social group and the underlined message
here is more religious group are many religions right now facing a lot of
challenges due to this heterogeneity God is one we all come from same source we
talked about that and God is love God is peace then why all these different
heterogeneous city in the religion so when these differences are dissolved
then there is a peace peace is an occurrence of harmony characterized by
the lake of violence conflict behaviors and the freedom from fear of violence
I'm sure the altar can relate to this how much fear of violence is going on
due to this terrorism also environmentally like Harry Kahn's in
Houston floods all those calamities in the world bring more insecurity to us so
to me what is peace what is supreme peace the supreme peace is when all
these calamities happen differences in the relationship happen financial
challenges come however health challenges come environmental changes
changes come political challenges and changes happen all these
circumstances unfavorable situations come in our life and we still can be
stable calm minded and have a calmness in our mind and we still want to share
our love with others that is the ultimate peace param shanti supreme
peace so what is peace if you look at the spelling of the peace be a AC peace
P P means we have to deal with these situations very positively with patients
and with prayers then we can have more equilibrium in our life because next
letter is e and that is stands for emotions many times we have a negative
emotions but with positive emotions with prayers with patience we can turn these
negative emotions into positive emotions so he stands for emotions a a means
anger free we will be talking about it how could we be anger free because that
is the major major issue B office and we feel like there is no way we could be
anger free can you relate to that I can relate to that
but we'll be speaking about how can we change this anger into n and M how can
we change this anxiety into anandam another means blissful life joy
so blissfulness ananda is a comes from the vedic justice and and you might have
heard anandam an anthem is now it is becoming like guru at one time nobody
knew what guru was because it's comes from is the Sanskrit one it comes
from the Vedic Indian scriptures and now that become part of our vocabulary
similarly karma karma means action that's also a part of Hindu scriptures
and anandam in fact when I named path to Ananda many people will ask me why am i
naming this path to anandam who would understand Ananda and now so many people
know about Ananda in fact they can relate to such
chit Ananda so a from anger and anxiety to Ananda see calmness control on our
emotions centralizing ourself means letting go and then he finally when we
practice all this we are so serene equanimity we are in equanimity we are
any Queen Emma's state equanimity is the State of Mind where our we have a full
control of our self we are the master of our self so peace to me is when I am the
master of myself I'm enjoying myself I have a full control on my happiness I'm
not a slave of anybody's as behavior which brings me happiness and
unhappiness so to me peace eternal peace ultimate pieces when I am not affected
by these external factors so please if you cannot write it down send me the
messages or said put your comments what does peace mean to you I'm sure we all
have a different meanings and different way of expressing or feeling peace so
how do you feel peace what is peace to you so when we to me as I said when I'm
in love I mean I feel love I feel peace I feel anandam then that's a peace to me

and ananda and home is in the middle the divinity is within light is within so I
would like to hear one more thing very briefly and that is that you saw me
namaste and when I say namaste what does it mean
and I thought I should take this opportunity to explain that what does
namaste means Dunamis that means is I bought down the divinity within you the
divine light in me honors the divine light within you so how is namaste done
namaste is done two ways one we do it when we greet somebody and we bow down
at the same time also it is done this way it means my right and my left brain
is in union I am in Union my heart and my mind is in union with my sword
and I am bowing down and also I am putting my hands upward means I'm
connecting myself to the supreme power the supreme light Almighty whatever we
want to name it we can even call it God but basically this is the wisdom of
namaste so namaste is that recognizes we are all equal and
share a common divinity commonality everyone shares a common and secret and
sacred divinity within ourselves the divine light in me honors the divine
light in you so connect a connection of heart to heart so I would like to sit
down today together with all of you and have about five to ten minutes
meditation so wherever you are feel comfortable and sit wherever you are
very comfortably close your eyes very gently and take a deep breath all the
way down to your stomach
hold it for a few seconds exhale inhale
hold it exhale inhale hold it exhale and now breathe normally and with
every breath say relax
and also with every breath smile so I smile and you inhale smile hold it
smile exhale so I smile when you are inhaling smile
when you are exhaling breathe normally
now with every breath say peace
inhale peace hold peace exhale peace peace peace peace you don't
have to say it loudly you can just recite within
feel the peace
with every breath is going deeper and deeper within you so feel my lungs are
filled with peace and the blood stream and oxygen flow it's enriching my heart
every cell in my cardiovascular system and my in my heart is enriching with
peace and flowing down
to my stomach area and indeed enriching my stomach so peace is flowing through
my stomach to the lower part of my stomach to my thighs to my legs
nice all the way down to my feet and my toes the entire lower part of my body is
filled with peace and it is flowing upward coming back from my toes back to
my feet to my legs to my thighs stomach area and chest area and feel that my
heart is filled with peace and it's expanding to my shoulders to my arms all
the way down to my fingers and fingernails and to my back all the way
down to spine
and all the way back to my every vertebra to my neck area and feel that
my entire trunk the body is filled with peace and now it is moving upward from
my neck to my jaws
to my teeth my tongue to my ears
to my eyes the nostril area and to my forehead and the entire head now the
entire body is filled with peace the golden light which many of you might be
seeing it feel that every cell of the body every DNA of the body every gene of
the body every nucleotide of the body every atom electron proton empty spaces
in the body all the mitochondria in the body are enriched with peace and golden
light and now it is expanding and going beyond the body all the way to the four
walls of the room where I'm sitting and to filling the entire house the entire
neighborhood the entire community the
entire USA the entire country and the neighboring countries Canada Europe
Middle East
Far East countries India Pakistan Sri Lanka Africa there is no boundary to
this peace it's expanding further and further and further and enriching the
whole universe it says that one person's peace manifestation and cultivations
nullifies the problems and anxieties in more than 1 million people so with our
dispositive energy with peaceful energy
the whole universe is filled with pure energy healing energy
and
bring that energy back to the body and centralize
and repeat with me I am peace I am peace
I am peace you are peace you are this you are peace everyone is peace
everyone is peace
everyone is peace we are all one we are all peace for people so we are peaceful
people and we are all peace and now this is your mantra for today I am peace so
continue to cultivate the peace within

with peace and let's pray for the people in Houston who are suffering with major
disaster right now many have lost their lives homes possessions and it is
affecting their peace and peace in the universe so let's all pray and send our
love and our prayers to all of them that may God protect them and bring peace in
their life and peace in the environment
so these kind of calamities do not happen
so now rub your hands and put it on your head
massage your face and your entire body and when you are sitting at home you
could must keep rubbing your hands and put it in the areas where you might need
more attention like on your knees or some areas which you might be
experiencing some pain so continue to cultivate the energy because your hands
have a lot of energy right now lot of energy so continue to rub your hands and
put it on that so tip for today yes which I already said it but I'm going to
repeat again then take a book and write down that what prevent you to feel
peaceful but how could you feel more peaceful what is your status of your
peace right now in your life and what peace means to you and also the tip for
today is cultivate this mantra I am peace within your body and continue to
repeat and continue to just like living in a consciousness of peace how can we
do that for today until we meet tomorrow decide this mantra and even when you go
to bed keep reciting and keep sending your prayers and keep sending the peace
to some one who might need in their life even to a pad even to a plant even to
the environment even if you are experiencing hard weather whatever it is
Center send your peace and your love to all and at the same time tomorrow we
will be at five o'clock we will meet again and we will

about what prevents me to experience more peace and from there we can talk
