Media report on the delights of veg cuisine. As the healthful, compassionate, and eco-saving
veg movement continues to gain momentum across the globe, media is more frequently illuminating
the benefits of plant-based cuisine.
In Los Angeles County, California, USA, One World Vegetarian Cuisine recently received
several favorable reviews. Among them was an article in the national daily newspaper
USA Today, highlighting the locale’s wide array of wholesome, fulfilling meals; also,
Los Angeles Times, which revealed that the restaurant’s One World Garden Burger was
voted as #6 out of 90 recipes in its first Battle of the Burgers contest; and Mother
Nature Network and Los Angeles Splash magazines, which spoke highly of the restaurant’s catering
services at Platinum Publicity’s Gifting Suite event for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.
On June 30, CNNGo published Hannah Bae’s article, “Best 7 restaurants for the Seoul
herbivore” to assist diners in the South Korean capital in finding veg eateries of
all types, from the Temple Food restaurant, founded in Buddhist beliefs, to the Honest
Loving Hut, offering Western veg comfort food. In July, People Magazine also covered a feature
on Emily Deschanel in the August issue of Ladies’ Home Journal, in which the “Bones”
actress spoke about the firm stance shared by herself and a fellow vegan friend to maintain
their wholesome, cruelty-free diets during their pregnancies. On July 7, Israel’s best-selling
English daily, The Jerusalem Post published “Veganism – doing the right thing” by
Gloria Deutsch, which states, “Far from being limited, a vegan diet can be very varied
and quite delicious.”
Our appreciation, international media and journalists, for sharing the scrumptious and
health-promoting wonders of plant-based fare. May such constructive contributions continue
to encourage the cruelty-free vegan diet to uplift and ensure the harmonious future of
our planet
