Let me paint you this picture. It's a stinking hot day, you're in a retail environment much like this
and you think, hey! I'm thirsty.
At that precise moment you spot a fridge full of cold soft drinks.
And your eye hones in on a coke sign.
You like coke. You're hot. You have money in your pocket.
And you purchase a can.
That's Perfect Marketing.
The provider has delivered their product to you at the precise moment you realised your needed it.
You can't do any better than that.
The company that put my pool pump in had the smarts to affix a simple sticker to the piping with their contact details on it.
So when my pump played up, which it did, they knew exactly the spot I'd be standing in.
They realised that I'm going to need help and their phone number was right in front of me.
Perfect Marketing.
As a switched on marketer you need to get your product or service in front of prospects
at the precise moment they realise they need what you offer.
So when is that moment for you?
And what do you need to do to satisfy the need at that moment?
Work that out, and you're in business!
And before I leave you, or you leave me, here's another example of Perfect Marketing.
You drive out of a rental car bay in the vehicle you've just picked up,
you reach for your sunglasses only to find you've forgotten them.
Because it's sunny you drop the sun shade and there is an ad for a sunglass supplier right in front of you.
Perfect Marketing.
Of course the icing on the cake would be providing the sunglasses to the customer at that moment.
It's possible. Someone just has to find a way.
I'm Kym Illman. Thanks for watching.
