>> RIT's men's hockey team wrapped up preparation to face Niagara in the AHA semi-finals in
Blue Cross Arena tomorrow night. The Tigers played in two straight finals two years ago.
They became the first team from the AHA to advance to a Frozen Four. Air Force won its
fourth AHA title last season. Each of those finals has been held at Blue Cross Arena,
RIT's second home. >> [BURT] Coming down here to Rochester, not playing at Ritter Arena
feels kind of weird, but for us our freshman have done it before, so we're used to it.
We come down here for our homecoming game and you just have to treat it like a playoff
game. Every playoff game is like a real game. You come in and you have nothing to lose.
You throw it all out on the line and hopefully we get a win and are able to play on Saturday.
>> [MALODORA] The fans are huge. They are probably the best in the league, well they
are the best in the league by far. They give us a huge boost when we need it and they're
behind us all the way. So it's nice having the support that we have here. >> Return
trip to the Division III women's hockey final four meant the RIT Tigers would be home this
weekend looking for a better outcome than a season ago. The Tigers will enjoy the home
ice advantage on Friday when they face Plattsburgh in the first semi-final game at Ritter Arena.
Should they win, they will face the winner of Norwich and Gustavus Adolphus. As the top
seed Rochester will play with that pressure in front of their home fans. >> [MOSS} There's
a little bit of pressure, but it's also exactly what we wanted. We wanted to host again. This
is where we wanted to be and I definitely want a different outcome than last year.
>> [McDonald] It's exciting to be back. Like Kristina said, we wanted to be back here.
We wanted the pressure of hosting again. It's welcome pressure. But there is no pressure
on us to win, what so ever.
