When you put it in your hair it stays liquid it doesn't solidify at least that's never
happened to me. Another thing that is good about coconut oil is that it is antimicrobial,
anti-fungal, antibacterial. So it helps to keep you clean, it also doesn't spoil very
easily it hasn't even come close to spoiling. Another thing about coconut oil is that it
is one of the very few oils available that can actually penetrate the shaft of your hair
and go into the very inside of the strands of your hair to provide protection and nourishment.
So it's actually going into your hair so I kind of like the idea of when I put it into
my hair my hair is drinking it up. It doesn't leave a greasy, doesn't leave it greasy, doesn't
leave it feeling strange at all, it actually goes into your hair. I highly recommend this
product. Completely chemical free it has a natural wonderful natural coconut smell not
a fake fragrance coconut smell but just the natural smell of coconut oil. So the next
products I am going to show are not natural, so these are actually synthetic oils. The
three products I am going to show are all the same, they all serve the same function
so they are basically the same I am just showing three companies that offer the same product.
So the first one I'll just show is Citre Shine. Different companies call it different things
this one calls it anti frizz serum. Zero Frizz calls it "corrective hair serum" and then
lets see, Smooth and Shine Polishing calls it "hair polisher'. You can see it has a very
thick consistency kind of like a very thick syrup of some sort. Some of them have fragrance,
varying fragrances um Smooth and Shine actually has a fragrance that's a little bit too strong
for me I prefer not to use it. I did purchase it because they are giving you a whole ton
of it you know for free, for basically the same price. These bottles are about $5 each,
you can buy them at Target you can buy them at Walmart you can buy them at Pharmacies.
And this, the instructions say to apply it to wet hair and that is definitely what you
should do because they don't work very well if you apply them to dry hair. So your hair
should be wet um, preferably like after you condition your hair, it's completely wet,
you apply it. The directions say to apply a small amount, like a dime size or a quarter
size but that is definitely not what I do, I apply about half a bottle which is about
2 ounces, or about 2.5 ounces because it is a 5 ounce bottle um and then I just coat my
hair. It is actually a sealant um it kind of seals hydration, it seals the water into
your hair, then you can style your hair or set your hair however you wish, um put a French
braid into it or you twist it or you blow dry it or whatever it is that you do. And
then once your hair starts to dry you'll start.. it'll ease up a bit on the consistency because
it does feel kind of sticky especially when it is wet. But once your hair starts to set
and dry, that feeling starts to go away and it's more of a shine that is left. Okay so,
those are the products I presented three which is one products but basically three different
companies um and these are $5 each and I use it once a week so I use half a bottle once
a week on one occasion because I only wash and comb my hair every six days. So that's
all that is needed and they are about five dollars a bottle. I strongly recommended the
Nutiva extra *** coconut oil um a couple of things I want to say about the coconut
oil is I do consume it, it is a saturated fat it used to be thought to be a bad saturated
fat but upon further research into the chemical structure of coconut oil it's found to be
the medium chain acids, amino acids. The type saturated fat that it is, it is not a bad
saturated fat it is a good saturated fat yeah so it is actually good for consumption. I
like the idea of putting on my skin and on my hair things that I can just as easily eat.
Safe chemical free and then I also recommended for it to be cold pressed and organic so you
get the very best quality. And then it's the jojoba oil it keeps it very soft from breaking
just like the coconut oil keeps your hair from breaking and it makes your hair super
super soft. It is a bit more expensive for a smaller quantity but it is definitely worth
it, at least giving a try okay. the next I spoke about is the water filter you can buy
at different stores um I just suggested Organic Excellence because that is where I buy mine
from. And then they shampoo and conditioner from organicexcellence.com completely chemical
free and super good, it is not overly drying because it does not have sulfates or any kinds
of harmful products. so keeping the routine for curly hair that tends to be on the dry
side, gentle, yet extremely effective. I use the syntheic oil with wet hair. The coconut
oil and jojoba oil I can use when my hair is wet but also since I am only washing it
every six days, the synthetic oil starts to wear off, so as it starts to wear off I start
supplementing my hair with the coconut oil and jojoba oil until it is time to wash my
hair again. Those are my suggestions so if your hair is curly or your child's hair is
curly or someone's hair is curly and you are looking for product recommendations and tips
hopefully these are helpful. Thanks. Bye.
