Hey guys, it's Ash here bringing you another map review alongside my co-host.
What's up guys, it's Professor Oak. Today's map is a Sanctuary remake and was created
by APK. And let me just say, this is by far the best Sanctuary Remake I have found. Other
maps have failed to capture the essence of Halo 2 sanctuary, much like Asylum did in
Halo Reach. Moreover, this is a small to medium sized
competitive map that works great for two to eight players. If you are a Halo fan, you
will feel right at home. Sanctuary is an iconic map that debuted in Halo 2 and was praised
for its arena style game play. This particular remake features accurate weapons
spawns with some additions. Of course the weapons in Halo 4 are not the same as in Halo
2, so some minor changes have been made. One might also notice that underneath the walkways,
they are now curved. This was an intentional change in order to decrease line of sights
to help compensate for the accuracy and power of the DMR.
If you download this map, I would highly suggest using the game type, Classic Slayer. You'll
definitely get a sense of nostalgia. I also suggest you give Capture the flag a try. From
play testing, this map was preformed fantastic for ctf.
Now in terms of rating this map, I am going to have to give it a perfect 7 out of 7.
I would have to agree, the great game flow and overall phenomenal aesthetics made this
map an absolute necessity for any avid Halo player.
I will provide a link below which will take you to Halo waypoint. All you have to do is
