The next step after you have filed all ten nails to the desired shape that you want,
is to blend the acrylic in with the natural nail. Now I'm going to use an electric nail
file. What I'm going to do is go around the cuticle area. Not going to actually get on
the cuticle, I'm just going to stay on the acrylic and just blend it in with the natural
nail. Just want to make sure that you don't have any lumps or bumps left neat the acrylic.
You're going to do this with all ten nails. If you don't have an electric nail file, you
can use a regular nail file. You just want to make sure that you get all the way around
the cuticle. Get up in the corners. So you're not going to have much filing to do here.
Blending in, again, is just another way to help prevent lifting when the acrylic away
from the natural nail. You want to make sure your only exerting very light pressure. You
want to make sure you're not hurting the person. It is possible to nick them and cause them
to bleed. You want to do your best not to do that. If, by chance it happens, though,
you can always use a product called liquid styptic. And what does that, and what that
does is stops the bleeding. Hopefully you won't need to use it, but if you do, it comes
n a little green bottle. It's a little green liquid. And that is how you blend the acrylic
in with the natural nail.
