Let's make briam in tomato sauce! A Greek summer dish, rich in vitamins and flavour.
Slice the onions.
Peel and cut the potatoes.
Cut the ends off the green beans and remove the fibres from the sides.
Wash the aubergines.,cut them into cubes and place them into a bowl.
Follow the same procedure with green peppers,couchettes, and tomatoes.
Add some salt, pepper, the basil, thyme, sugar and the fresh tomato sauce to the baking pan and mix all the ingredients well.
Drizzle with some olive oil.
Place the baking pan in the preheated oven and bake at 190C
for 40-45 minutes until the vegetables are soft and the sauce thickens.
Remove the briam from the oven and set aside to cool off for 10'-15 ' and serve.
