How to solve an icosahedron resistance.
This is an 100k ohm resistor.
The resistance is nearly 100k ohm.
This is an icosahedron resistance made of 100k ohms.
What value of the combined resistance of both ends?
In the one end of the point, current is divided into five parts of resistors. So this part is 1/5 ohm.
Each current is again divided into two, the resistance of the portion is 1/10 ohm.
Currents are together with the five section of the resistance. This part is 1/5 ohm.
Other resistors don't have electric current flow, because of same potential.
Combined resistance 1/5 + 1/10 + 1/5 = 1/2 ohm.
Now check up real resistance.
The resistance is nearly 50k ohm.
