I'm Nick Robinson, the BBC's Political Editor. I want to tell you about your chance to be
Chancellor. The real Chancellor gets to deliver his budget
on the 21st of March 2012, but of course it's you that will be affected.
It's you and your work whose taxes he'll be setting,
it's you whose retirement age will be affected -
probably not thinking about that quite yet -
but it is you also that will be affected by decisions about
what he spends on and what he chooses not to spend very much on
at all. And you don't usually get to have your say;
well you will have the chance to be Chancellor. We're going to collate all the ideas that
people have together in a Youth Budget
that comes out in 2012. It's going to be discussed at The Treasury
as well and that's why it is incredibly important
that you don't just leave it to the guys in suits -
people like me who get to report on this - but that you take up
your Chance to be Chancellor.
