Anxiety is technically an emotion. Just like happiness, sadness, any other feelings that
we may have. However, anxiety, as an emotion, is very much tied to our body physiologically.
So usually when you feel anxiety, there are also physiological reactions. So you may have
sweaty palms, you may have a rapid heartbeat, palpitations. You may notice feeling light-headed,
dizzy, shortness of breath. Depending on the kind of anxiety that an individual has, it
can also be tied to what the individual is thinking. But anxiety, at it's core, at it's
basic, is an emotion and just like any other emotion, all of us are capable of experiencing
and feeling it.
