Today, Jaystepher's going to do a review on
the Lego Creator series.
This is the Seaside House.
Set number 7346,
contains 415 pieces,
recommended for ages 7 through 12.
And it's got the three-in-one special.
Looks like we can go build either a vacation apartment
or a house with beach hut.
So it looks like we get a mini-fig.
So it looks like we get a mini-fig.
Maybe a crab and looks like a barbecue with fish.
Maybe a crab and looks like a barbecue with fish.
So it looks like we get to do all this.
Take a look at the back side.
So this is the back.
It looks like we get to do these other projects as well.
It looks like we get to do these other projects as well.
So let's open it up and see what we get inside here.
So let's open it up and see what we get inside here.
Looks like we get a colorful instruction manual
Looks like we get a colorful instruction manual
that's kind of needing flatten out.
Found a nice 8 by 16 tan plate.
A bag of bricks.
Not numbered but somebody told me it's because they are in a Creator set
so they don't need to be numbered.
Another bag of pieces.
More pieces.
Lots of blues. Lots of light blue.
Here's another one of the instruction manuals. I'm not sure what number that one is.
Here's another one of the instruction manuals. I'm not sure what number that one is.
16 x 16 light-green base.
16 x 16 light-green base.
And that is an actual plate, not a base plate.
So you can attach stuff to the bottom of that I've noticed, and here is the third instruction book.
Looks like the apartment thing.
Still digging for parts.
Looks like we got a bunch of plates in here.
More goodies.
More parts.
Nothing in there.
So it looks like we get a very big selection of pieces.
Looks like windows and doors.
Looks like windows and doors.
So let's put this bad boy together!
The first build in the series is the Vacation Apartment.
First off if we notice is we get, looks like a beach here. We get a little fish
and a crab.
Also get a pier with a life preserver,
and one mini-fig.
And this guy here is just relaxing on the little chase-lounge.
And here is the apartment.
We of course we got one at the bottom and at the top.
And we even get a little surfboard here that just fell off.
This is not a printed surfboard but hey....
This is not a printed surfboard but hey....
This is not a printed surfboard but hey....
Just like with all Creator, the stories do come off. So we'll pop this top story off here.
Look down in here as you can see, this is a very very very small build.
Look down in here as you can see, this is a very very very small build.
It is 7 by 8 studs
or 6 by 8 studs, sorry.
And there is not much room for furniture in there.
So not a lot of play space for a little apartment.
So not a lot of play space for a little apartment.
We put the second story on here.
This one's kind of weird because the top of the roof of this doesn't come off.
So I guess you can just reach in here in the door,
and the door doesn't open up all the way to play in there,
but then you got four studs so I don't know how big of an apartment that is.
but then you got four studs so I don't know how big of an apartment that is.
You might just be able to put a bed there if you're lucky.
I do like the way they put the rail around here and the plants.
Although this rail is not finished off,
I wished they would have thought of something better with it.
But I like the stairs.
Here's the ... palm tree,
like a cactus or something. I'm not sure what this is [Laughs]
Let's take a look around the back here.
It's just a basic blue.
I like the awning over the window
using those bull-nosed bricks, and I guess this is suppose to be some kind of an air conditioner.
using those bull-nosed bricks, and I guess this is suppose to be some kind of an air conditioner.
So this is the very first of the builds
is the Vacation Apartment.
is the Vacation Apartment.
Here is the second build.
Here is the second build.
This is the House with Beach Hut.
So obviously this is the house and this is the beach hut.
We got our mini-fig.
We got our mini-fig.
Let's take a look at the house here.
I like the little parrot.
This roof does come off.
Let's see how easy it comes off with me holding the cam.
Oh it came off pretty easy.
Look at that, you get a whopping 8 by 8 stud space in there.
I really don't know what you're going to put in there.
So, not a lot of room.
I like the way the tiling is on the front.
You got looks like a sand crab.
Looks like that's a palm tree so I can easily identify that.
We got a little bridge with a life preserver.
We got a little bridge with a life preserver.
You can actually see underneath there barely.
You can actually see underneath there barely.
We got the little beach hut thing. I like the surfboard on top.
We got the little beach hut thing. I like the surfboard on top.
The glass mug came with it.
And that looks like some kind of machine in the back. Probably to make
And that looks like some kind of machine in the back. Probably to make
iced tea or something I don't know.
We get a flag and some kind of flower thing.
Let's just rotate it around here. Let's take a look here.
So this is the side view of it.
Not much going on in the back.
The store opens up.
You really can't do anything with this here.
This is as far as this top opens up so you really can't have access for mini-figs.
This is as far as this top opens up so you really can't have access for mini-figs.
So I don't really know why that's designed like that.
There's the back, and here's the other side. At least they give you lots of windows.
A lot of windows for that little house.
So that is the House with Beach Hut.
So that is the House with Beach Hut.
So that is the House with Beach Hut.
Alright this is the Seaside House.
This is the largest of the three models.
First thing you notice we got the house here. It looks like a two-story house.
We got a little shower in here with a towel.
That's very very creative, I like the way they did that
with the shower head,
with the shower head,
and that looks like that might be a ***. There's the towel.
There's the tile floor
There's the tile floor
or brick floor with a drain.
So we get the life preserver here,
and it looks like we got a barbecue with a fish.
I like the way it is. It's almost like a little mope head type thing.
And there's our mini-fig
with the *** hair,
with the *** hair,
and he's holding a mug.
And this looks like to be a sand castle.
We got a crab down here.
Now also there is this right here. This is suppose to be some kind of title wave or something.
Now also there is this right here. This is suppose to be some kind of title wave or something.
Of course if I was staring at this,
I would be running further away. I wouldn't be running in the house.
So let's take a closer look at the house. This is the house here.
This just like all Creator sets,
the stories do come off. So let's just pop the
story of it off here. You got a balcony here.
You got two ... you got a balcony.
You got s porch here, but let's look down in here.
Not much going on.
It's an 8 by 11 stud room.
Not much you can put in there.
It does have a ladder to climb up the
site here to go to the second story.
It easily locks into place.
You just lift open this latch here.
You can actually play inside here.
Now there is not a lot of play area in here.
But again you still get the,
let me see here,
looks like we get maybe an 8 by 10 room.
And this blue brick here,
I guess this suppose to be a little wall or something.
I don't know why it was put there.
But you do get two doors that open,
and very creative.
and very creative.
But some things do come in to mind.
Let's kind of rotate this thing around.
If this almost looks familiar
to the Lego Beachside House.
The yellow one that's, I think set number 4996.
It looks almost identical to it. So I think they were trying to recreate the house I guess,
It looks almost identical to it. So I think they were trying to recreate the house I guess,
except this one's powder-blue.
You do get a lot of features,
You do get a lot of features,
and you do get a palm tree
with a little
seagull on top.
It's a very creative idea to use arches and stuff.
So that kind of goes with the theme except it's kind of detachable.
I don't know why they just didn't put it somewhere on here.
I don't know why they just didn't put it somewhere on here.
But all-in-all,
my experience with this set is it was very decent,
but for the price,
I got it for 50 dollars I believe. That was a little too steep but I just wanted it.
I mean there's a lot of good elements in this set, but nothing really usable.
I mean there's a lot of good elements in this set, but nothing really usable.
This kind of ranks with the Lego City House and I don't remember the number of it,
but it's not a set that I would really recommend
unless you like the powder blue here.
unless you like the powder blue here.
But you do get some good elements. It's a little on the high end.
You get one mini-fig.
Also you do get the surfboard. You at least get an accessory, a fish,
and some other things like the crab.
It's a little on the high end,
but it's great for any collector.
but it's great for any collector.
You know I love Creator sets but this one kind of seems like it was more
recycled from the Beach House.
And the Beach House I thought to me was a really good set.
This one here was maybe kind of like a downgrade from it.
All-in-all it's a really good set if you get it at a sale
maybe 30 bucks maybe.
If you get it chat cheap, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat, but if it's like 40,
If you get it chat cheap, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat, but if it's like 40,
maybe 45, I would wait for it to get on sale.
Other than that though, you know you get the big giant base plates.
Also I get a lot of things or messages about
Also I get a lot of things or messages about
Well I'm going to start showing you that.
You know you get like some ... you get like some smooth tiles,
a couple of studs, and other things.
This is what was left over.
So you do get some extra pieces,
but just really tiny stuff.
But all-in-all though, it's a very fair set.
Very fair.
If you're looking for accessories, this is it, but if you're looking for a really good deal,
If you're looking for accessories, this is it, but if you're looking for a really good deal,
you know. That's all I can really say about it.
But this is the Lego Seaside House.
But this is the Lego Seaside House.
Set number 7346, contains 415 pieces,
and recommended for ages 7 through 12.
And it is a three-in-one special,
and there's the third model.
So I hope this review helps you guys out.
