With the Razr family first arriving on the smartphone platform in 2011 and further developing with this years Razr max.
Motorola will be looking to really kick on with this the Motorola Razr i,
the first device to boast an intel processor.
But will the Razr i carry on the strong mobile tradition or will it fail to cut the mustard.
If at any point you want to know more just click on our logo to be take though to our website.
Much like the Razrs that went before it the Razr i is certainly striking on first impressions.
At 122 by 60mm its considerably smaller than previous efforts.
But loses none of the sleek styling with the now familiar kevlar backing off setting the subtle looks.
A splash-proof coating, both inside and out, means those little accidents are no problem at all.
Whilst the gorilla glass display will stand up to scratches and scrapes as well.
Most importantly it feels very pleasant in the hand. With the relatively small frame
making it easy to reach all areas of the screen and the tapered end at the bottom making it nice to hold.
Despite some screws down the polished aluminium sides its definitely attractive
and undoubtedly an impressive step forward for Motorola in the looks department.
What will surprise many about the Razr i is the shear speed of the thing.
Thanks to the brand new 2GHz Intel atom processor.
Everything from apps to the camera loads in record time,
with switching between everything now a genuine breeze.
In fact multitasking is perhaps the easiest we've experience on any android phone so far this year.
Motorola also claims the camera will launch in under a second and almost unbelievably it does.
Hold down the physical camera button and you'll be lining up your shot in no time.
This speed also extends to the web browser with pages loading at an impressive rate and rendering even faster.
With most devices struggling to adjust to zooms and scrolling the Razr i can stand up to just about any task.
Switching between tabs is fast and accurate meaning you'll get everyday tasks,
like visiting your favourite websites done in record time.
If your a photography fan you certainly won't be disappointed with the Razr i.
As we've already mentioned the camera launches quicker than anything and allows for almost instant capture
and a new bust shot mode will speed up your image taking even more.
Capturing ten shots in under a second it saves them all and allows you to pic your favourites.
Although it may not be as refined as similar modes see on the Samsung Galaxy S3, this bad boy is much much faster.
As well as its ease of use the camera crucially provides some really impressive results.
The 8 megapixel offering is capable of some really detailed and clear images.
Whilst 1080p video capture is a real visual treat.
Both images and video receive assistance from the Razr i's display and it proves to be an absolute show stealer.
At 4.3inches its pretty big for a device so small. And the edge to edge design provides an expansive immersive experience.
Visuals are crystal clear and the Super Amoled QHD offering really lives up to its name and produces some impressive results.
Especially considering the devices size and stature.
As with the previous Razrs the Razr i comes running Android Ice-cream Sandwich
and doesn't really differ much as a result.
Menus are as you expect from Googles OS and despite loading quicker than lighting theres very little to add or contest.
Google voice commands add a helpful hands free option
and can accomplish anything from sending a text message to performing an internet search.
Motorola's new circle widgets for all your clocks and widgets is also a really nice touch and looks the business.
but aside from that its pretty much what you'd expect from I.C.S.
However according to the Motorola bods there is a Jelly Bean update in the pipeline
and we recon it will take the device to the next level.
Of course the dreaded question when it come to smartphones is often the one regarding battery life.
But we'r pleased to report the Razr i even excels in this department.
A 2000mAh battery may not seem much when compared to the average smartphone,
but once again it ropes in the Intel processor to accomplish tasks quickly and efficiently
and thus saves your precious charge.
And if you want a bit of extra assistance Motorola's smart actions are on hand to perform juice saving tasks at will.
Meaning you can always get the best out of your battery life.
So far the Razr family has been a functional if flair flare free affair,
with the previous two devices impressing without really dazzling.
The Razr i changes all this with its lighting fast processor, excellent display and impressive multimedia capabilities.
Its top of the Razr class and very near the top of the smartphone class as well.
Make no mistake if Motorola keep putting phones out like this, they'll be one to keep you eye on.
Well come...i haven't done one all day, I had to put one..i...no...oh forget it.
