Hey Y’all This is Aaron. If you look in the Chrome webstore you can find a ton of
different screen shot extensions and they are very useful.
One a like is Awesome Screenshot. It can capture the visible part of the page, a selected area,
or it will scroll to get the entire page, visible or not.
I am going to select the entire page. You then get the option to annotate.
The problem is you can only grab the webpage content. You can’t grab the menu bar, the
onmibox, or the extensions.
You also can’t use the extensions to grab a screenshot of the settings pages. Awesome
Screenshot is grayed out and the Google Screen Capture flat out tells you its unable to perform
the action.
For this reason it is important to know how to use the built in screenshot tool. To take
a full screen shot, hit the key combo of ctrl and “switch” key. The screen will flash
You now have a full screen shot. You can find these screenshots in the file manager.
